I plan my days spelling out in numeric order with alphabet soup. Yesterday's said "bad" todays spelt "w-o-r-s-e". But in the long run I see it as spelling "B-e-t-t-e-r". I think I will go buy some bigger spoons.
some folk are embarrassed by their younger writing and blogs. i suppose i am not. maybe that is the robot in me? here is another gem from 2004 to leave you with:

In a world that has stepped into the media-real, approaching a new dynamic in entertainment and introducing the documentary as entertainment; I see it fit to re-emphasize the importance of the documentary as an educational tool. It is now a fast growing high paced world of ‘viewer commodity’ – it has come to a point where in film, and especially the ‘new documentary’ where the viewer is no longer challenged. The films are now entertaining – a strategy I don’t completely disagree with. Though at the same time I would say that it has become too much a spectacle of entertainment, and too least a tool for education.
It is however not only just the films that tamper with the educational tools that which are to be propelled by this medium. It is as well the directors and producers who seem to lead by example. For example the producers and directors of the film “The Corporation”, a very educational and highly exposing film of the corporate world, after the directors/producers had accepted an award, sponsored by coca-cola a company the film was fighting against, they had admittedly taken this award only to congratulate their efforts. It is the responsibility of the filmmakers to lead by example not only whilst making the film but live by what they have created.
I would like to see a new direction in filmmaking with mannerisms that respect the audience and the subject matter at hand. I would like to create responsible and respectable films.
embarrassed, no! in fact, i feel nearly the same sentiments: docutainment is bs. also robotamerica is more than 22 years old. i wish i had more. also also, fun note: before robotamerica, my handle was flying_ape_fetus 🤣
